What are pneumatic rock drills?
Pneumatic rock drills operate on air pressure from a compressor. This is why no motor is built into the machine. Rock drills work with a piston system, in which an air bubble is compressed. This creates a very powerful stroke, which is stronger than that of an impact drill. Pneumatic rock drills are used for drilling holes in concrete (also underwater) and various rocks.
Where to use a pneumatic rock drill?
The air rock drills are mainly used in construction- and quarry industry, the furnace- and steel industry as well as the mining industry.
