Drill bits

Rocbo supplies drill bits from Monark and Rockmore. These drill bits are developed for optimal use in many types of rocks and suitable for various 'hand-held' pneumatic drilling needs. The drill bits are supplied with different konus and thread connections and are compatible on drill rods with the same connection. These drill rods are also available from Rocbo.
These Cross and Button bits with Parabolic or Hemispherical inserts are available. You can order them in different drill diameters. Drill Rods

Rocbo supplies drill rods for drill diameters of 30-102 mm and drilling depths up to 10 meters. The advantages of the drill rods of Monark and Rockmore are: faster drilling, long service life and lower costs per meter drilled. The drill rods are made of high quality steel. Its properties are a superior tolerance of possible bending of the rod and the best protection against steel exhaustion. In the case of drill rods, the surface of the shank end and the connection thread for the drill bit are most pressurized and are therefore hardened. The flushing channel has a special anti-corrosion layer that prevents rusting from the inside. These are properties that minimize the risk of breaking the drill rod and guarantee the optimal life cycle.
E-Z Drill offers one-piece whirl bits, two-piece H-thread steel and bits and two-piece taper steel and bits in multiple sizes to meet nearly any need.
Drill rods are round or hexagonal. Round rods consist of less steel and are therefore lighter and slightly cheaper. However, the most commonly used rods are hexagonal. These rods are more fixed and therefore the drilling results are often straight and the drilled material is better disposed. If the length of a single drill rod is not long enough, an extension rod can be used. You can also order these from Rocbo.

Extension Rods

When the length of a single drill rods is not long enough, an extension rod can be used. For extension of drill rods and drilling depths of more than 10 mtr. An extension rod is attached to a drill rod usually through a coupling. In this way, drilling is possible to great depths.

The parts of the rod which are under great pressure, namely the surface of the shank- and the thread ends are hardened. Integral drill steels - Plug hole rods - Whirly bits

Rocbo delivers Integral drill steels for Drill diameters 13-45 mm and drill depths up to 9600mm. Integral drill steels are also referred to as plug hole rods or whirly bits.

Use Integral drill steels
Integral drill steels are mainly used for drilling holes in concrete and rock. Common applications in concrete are anchoring, installation of dowel bars, repair and reinforcement of concrete structures and (explosive) demolition. In rock the drills are widely used in quarrying, mining, tunneling and anchoring applications.

Window samplers and Windowless samplers for Soil Sampling / Geotechnical

The window and windowless samplers (sample tubes) are selected in a sequence of reducing diameters. Various diameters are available (50 to 131mm) and the sample tubes are selected according to the ground conditions encountered. The total depth which can be achieved will depend upon the soil type and the presence of obstructions.
