E-Z Drill Concrete drills

E-Z Drill has vertical, on-grade, slab rider and equipment-mounted models with up to five gangs for industry-leading speed on projects such as lane additions, highway repairs, airport runway repair, full depth repairs or pinpointing gas leaks. Features of these concrete drills are hole-spacing guides and dual-purpose guide wheels for faster repositioning, as well as roller bearing feed systems and individual oil injection systems for less downtime and increased productivity. An E-Z Drill will take on any concrete drilling or doweling project with exceptional efficiency, crosshair precision and durability. These high quality, dependable drills ensure safe, productive operations to meet any project deadline.

SINGLE GANG CONCRETE DRILLS

E-Z Drill’s single gang dowel pin drills are an effective solution for projects ranging in size from several hundred to a few thousand holes. Available as on-grade or slab rider units, the drills are ideal for a variety of tasks including lane additions on highways, airports or bridges, full depth concrete road repair and any application where drilling into concrete is required.
These single gang concrete drills are pneumatically driven and can easily drill up to 18 inches deep and are compact enough to drill within 6 inches from a corner. For added versatility, the single gang slab riders are ideal for stitching applications and skew drilling. All on-grade drills have a vertical conversion kit available to be able to drill vertical holes.

TWO-GANG CONCRETE DRILLS

Big jobs require bigger productivity. When a single gang drill isn’t giving you the productivity you need, step up to an E-Z Drill two-gang drill. These versatile concrete drills come in both on-grade and slab rider models and offer the ideal solution for mid-size projects such as small airport repairs, lane additions and full-depth repair. And because the two gang drills are still compact and maneuverable, they offer twice the productivity for nearly any size patch.
The 210B-2 On-Grade operates in the subgrade, which is ideal for completing projects in high traffic areas because it keeps the machine and operator out of a secondary traffic lane. If road closure is not an issue but subgrade specs or regulations are, the 210B-2 SRA may be the ideal choice. This two-gang drill operates from the concrete slab so that it doesn’t disturb the subgrade.

MULTI-GANG CONCRETE DRILLS

Multi-gang concrete drills offer maximum efficiency for projects with a larger number of holes to drill, or a limited time schedule to complete the work, such as large airport expansions, adding additional runways, significant lane additions and highway full depth repair. Though the multi-gang drills are larger, they are compact enough to operate in a 4-foot patch while drilling as deep as 18 inches and within 6 inches of a corner. Adjustable spacing can be set between 12 and 36 inches, with greater width settings available through custom orders.

The multi-gang slab riders operate on top of the concrete slab, which provides optimum accuracy and eliminates disturbance of the subgrade. An optional on-grade conversion kit allows the drill to operate from the subgrade when the top of a slab is not available. For additional versatility, the slab-rider models can drill vertically after just a few adjustments. In addition to versatility, the multi-gang concrete drills offer easy maneuverability thanks to a combination of foam-filled tires and patented tri-steering.
To enhance productivity and ease of use, E-Z Drill offers an equipment mounted multi-gang drill. Compatible with most models of backhoes and excavators, these units are ideal for full-depth road repair and patching projects. Like the standard units, this equipment-mounted drill offers easy positioning thanks to a side-shift feature that allows a second set of holes to be drilled without the need to move the drill, backhoe or excavator. For added convenience and productivity, the equipment mounted drills feature 360-degree rotation, which allows quick repositioning for drilling within the same patch.
